Writing Prompts

One of the few things I know about writing is this: spend it all,
shoot it, play it, lose it, all, right away, every time...give it, give it all, give it now.

Let these prompts be doorways into your mind.

Personal writing is a way to explore the subtle effervescent aspects of your soul having a human experience. Set a timer for 10-15 minutes. The only rule is to keep writing, even if you have to write “the the the” until another word comes to mind. Below are some words to push you off the edge so you can fly, throw you into the river to get you to swim, send you into the desert so you will survive.

“It ain't what they call you, it's what you answer to.”
—W.C. Fields

Boundaries – what are they? Do they hurt or make me feel safe? How do they feel – too tight, too thin, just right? Do they protect me from others and/or others from me? What do my boundaries look like, sound like? How do they smell?

When have I experienced injustice? How did it make me feel?

How responsible am I to my natural talents?

What is my sense of my own identity – how does the world see me?
